Not a Class 1, 2 or 3 e-bike. Aipas lists a 36 mph top speed, which is above the Class 3 limit (28 mph). In many places that makes it an off-road or moped-class vehicle. Check local law. E-bike laws by state

Our take
The M2 Max is a moto-styled fat-tire bike with an 1,800W motor, a 936 Wh battery and a claimed 36 mph top speed, for $1,099. That speed puts it outside the standard e-bike classes, so it may not be legal on bike paths. It's built for tall riders: Aipas recommends 5'8" and up.
