Jasion Hunter Pro: specs and how it compares
Not tested. Will hasn't ridden this bike. Specs come from Jasion's own site, written in our words, and each one is linked below. For bikes he has tested, see the reviews.
Class: Jasion lists 30+ mph in the top assist level. That's above the 28 mph Class 3 limit, so it may count as a moped or motor vehicle in your state unless it's limited to 20 or 28 mph. Check your state's rules. E-bike laws by state

Our take
This is a lot of bike for $999: full suspension, hydraulic brakes, a 720 Wh battery and a fold. The trade-offs are an 82 lb weight that makes the fold more about storage than carrying, a basic cadence sensor and a one-year warranty. Its 30+ mph top level is past the legal e-bike limit in most states. Set it to 20 or 28 mph before you ride on paths or in bike lanes.

What owners say
Jasion's store shows 4.78 out of 5 from 2,040 reviews, with 81% five-star. Owners mostly mention value for money and helpful customer service. Complaints include no printed assembly manual, so owners used YouTube videos instead. Others had a missing charging-port cover, a foggy display and a bad battery, each replaced by support. Several of those reviews are for the older X-Hunter.
Caveat: The reviews are on Jasion's own store and mix models. They aren't independent.
