Our take

The Go 1 is a compact step-through with small 20 in wheels, aimed at riders who want an easy mount and a low center of gravity. Its 440 lb total limit and built-in rack make it more of a utility runabout than a plain cruiser. The motor is a modest 500W with a cadence sensor, so expect simple on-off style assist rather than a natural pedal feel. At $1,699 it costs more than several similar small-wheel bikes, and it was unavailable when we checked.

What owners say

Velotric's store shows a 4.8 out of 5 average from 135 reviews. One owner reports more than 1,500 miles of commuting in a few months and likes the rear rack, but wished the handlebars sat higher. Another said the passenger foot pegs sit too high for a child to use comfortably.

Caveat: These reviews sit on the maker's own store, which may filter them. They aren't independent.
