Our take
The Sausalito E1 is a quiet, bike-shop-backed commuter built around Bosch's smaller Active Line Plus motor. It comes with fenders and lights. It's pedal assist only, and 50 Nm is mild for steep hills. Weight and payload aren't listed. At $3,499 you're paying for Bosch reliability and dealer support more than raw power.
