Our take

The LMT'D V2 is a fast Class 3 commuter with a torque sensor, a 100 mm fork and hydraulic brakes. It weighs a reasonable 55 lb and costs $1,595. Its 672 Wh battery is mid-sized, and Ride1Up says 14Ah is the biggest pack that fits the frame.

What owners say

Ride1Up's page shows 4.67 out of 5 from 253 reviews. In the reviews we could read, owners praise the hill-climbing power, the throttle and the value, and like the step-through frame and comfort kit. One owner said the battery range could be longer.

Caveat: These reviews sit on the maker's own store, which may filter them. They aren't independent. We could read only the six reviews shown first.
