Our take
The Vado SL 4.0 EQ is a light commuter at about 37 lb, built to feel like a normal bike with a gentle boost. Its 35 Nm motor and 320 Wh battery are modest, but Specialized claims long range in Eco and offers a range extender. It comes equipped with fenders, lights and a rack. At $3,999.99 you pay for the low weight and dealer support. The capture showed only an XL in this color.
