Should you buy one?
Buy a KBO Breeze if you find one used or in stock and you want a commuter with a rack, fenders and lights already on it. When I tested it, I said it was one of the best e-bikes I’d tested (0:38 to 0:42). At about 200 lb on hilly roads, I never wanted more power (0:56 to 1:08). My max-range test was on par with KBO’s claim (5:44 to 5:51).
Skip it if you’re tall and dislike leaning forward. At about six feet, the handlebars felt about three inches too far forward (1:58 to 2:13). Also, KBO’s Breeze collection page has no bikes listed as of Oct 23, 2026, so a new one may be hard to find.
The deciding factor: availability. It looks discontinued at KBO.

What I didn’t test
I ran a range test but didn’t record a mileage figure in the video; I only said it matched KBO’s claim (5:44 to 5:51). I didn’t run a top-speed or braking test, and I didn’t weigh the bike. The 62 lb weight and 300 lb load are KBO’s numbers.
Who it’s for
- Commuters who want to take the battery into the office and charge it there (3:09 to 3:23).
- Riders who want to be seen; it has lights and bright orange paint (0:44 to 0:56).
- Anyone carrying things on a rack (2:24 to 2:39).
- Riders in hilly areas (0:58 to 1:08).
Who should look elsewhere
- Riders who want an upright posture (1:58 to 2:21).
- Anyone who needs to buy new with a warranty; it isn’t listed at KBO.
- Riders who want hydraulic brakes; KBO lists mechanical discs.

The Breeze has the biggest battery of the three. The Level.2 adds a torque sensor, and the Discover 1 has hydraulic brakes and a higher load limit.
