Should you buy one?
Buy the Voyager if you want a cargo bike that can carry a passenger or groceries without paying cargo-bike prices. It has passenger foot pegs, a big rear rack and bungee straps (2:04 to 2:23). It also has a center kickstand that makes loading a child easier (2:44 to 3:16). For the price, I called it a fantastic bike (4:44 to 5:00).
Skip it if you’re tall and want to raise the handlebars. It fit me at 6’1”, but the bars barely move up and down; you can only tilt them (3:57 to 4:15). Also skip it if you want a feature-rich display. The color display is pretty basic (0:57 to 1:05).
The deciding factor: value. You get hydraulic brakes, turn signals, a front fork and a rack Kingbull rates for 180 lb. It was $1,100 when I recorded (3:31 to 3:36).

What I didn’t test
I didn’t run a range test, a top-speed test, or a braking test, and I didn’t weigh the bike. I didn’t carry a passenger or load the rack to its limit. The 60 mile range, 28 mph top speed, 77 lb weight and 440 lb payload are Kingbull’s numbers.
Who it’s for
- Families who want to carry a child or a passenger. It has foot pegs and room for a child seat (2:04 to 2:16, 2:44 to 3:09).
- Riders who run errands and want quick tie-downs (2:16 to 2:23).
- Budget cargo buyers. It costs less than many cargo bikes with a rack this size (4:44 to 5:00).
- Night riders. The headlamp is bright, and it has turn signals (1:15 to 1:40).
Who should look elsewhere
- Tall riders who want higher bars (3:57 to 4:15).
- Riders who want a clean-looking drivetrain area. The big black controller cover by the crank looks cheesy to me (3:18 to 3:29).
- Anyone who has to carry the bike up stairs. Kingbull lists it at 77 lb.

The Voyager has the widest tires and the largest listed battery (48V 17.5Ah is 840Wh). Its $1,100 price when I tested it is below all three current listings.
